Sophie Pailleret designs architectural interiors where colors and materials infuse precious sophistication. For this project of a women’s bedroom, she mixes ivory, bronze and gold, whose delicate tones recall the glamour of Hollywood in the Roaring Twenties. Curtains drape the walls, the staff of the fireplace unfolds in volutes, while the quilted satin bed opens up like a shell. The interplay of voluptuous textures in this couture interior is counter-balanced with a savvy choice of sculptural objects.
